wow… what a year. full of weird little joys, tiny disasters, accidental cults, too much tv, some really good food, and music that hit me in the exact right spot. i laughed, i cried, i got lost in too many mvs, and i found a few things i’ll hold onto forever.

sometimes life felt like a spiral, sometimes like a smooth playlist. either way, it was mine, and i wouldn’t trade it. seeing small kindness, making dumb jokes, failing at dishes, celebrating little wins; these were my treasures this year.

thank you for reading along, for all the chats, and for making this little corner of the internet feel like home. rest up, hug your favorite people, and maybe treat yourself a little before the new year starts.

two days ago i did in fact go out and do adult things (scary). bought necessities. survived. however; note to self, never step into t.j.maxx on a weekend ever again. that place is primark’s evil cousin. same mess, but with tagless brand names judging you from every aisle (i felt watched). my brain fully blue-screened.

squirrel count: broken. absolutely unreliable. i swear i saw more than i’m legally allowed to at this point.

i’m almost done with weak hero and whewww i’m on a very interesting episode right now. s2 really tangled everyone’s fate together, including sieun’s, and at first i was like huh??? what is the writer doing??? but now i kinda get it. i will let them cook. my only solid theory is that there has to be a season 3, maybe next year or 2027 (which sounds like a full century away tbh >:0).

i’m currently listening to red sneakers n never ending story (while getting flashbacks of reply 1988) by iu on loop. like actually on loop. her new album is so good, and i still think it’s insanely cool that it comes with a cd player if you buy it. who else is doing that. retro queen behavior. i love how she fully commits instead of just flirting with the aesthetic :]

this random memory smacked me in the face: my primary school teacher blasting für elise on loop. and not like a cute one-time thing. no. the man hit repeat for the entire silent reading block. 30 mins of silent reading EVERYDAY. same song. same little piano loop. over n over again.

so it's 4am and i slept at 4pm… wow. i legit passed out like someone unplugged me, and somehow i'm still tired. (maybe the travel just wrung me out like a rag). yesterday the whole family ended up watching inazuma eleven together… which shocked me cuz like, since when do all of us agree on anything?? pretty sure my older cousins corrupted the younger ones early on. my aunt walked by, saw us all lined up watching it, and just laughed like “yup. figures.” i skipped straight to the world cup arc cuz duh that’s the peak. (also watched some cloy).
