red sneakers

i’m currently listening to red sneakers n never ending story (while getting flashbacks of reply 1988) by iu on loop. like actually on loop. her new album is so good, and i still think it’s insanely cool that it comes with a cd player if you buy it. who else is doing that. retro queen behavior. i love how she fully commits instead of just flirting with the aesthetic :]

i watched almost the full season of weak hero (s1) and then my mum casually walked in and went “oh yeah, i watched the whole thing already.” like what have you not watched??? also can i praise someone real quick? jihoon.........is such a good actor, it’s kind of scary. also he mentioned something about door 101 at some point and i just know the screenwriter was having the time of their life hiding easter eggs everywhere. even a twinkling watermelon reference?? i forgot exactly where but i remember clocking it and going hold onnnn. suho is def my fave character :33

also watched the first episode of the apothecary diaries and i really like the main character :,] did not expect it to start like that but it definitely hooked me. calm but sharp, my favorite combo.

i was bored later so i went through people’s submissions for smacmag around the globe project, and wow… it’s genuinely so fun to scroll through. no dialogue, just pure storytelling and vibes. you can feel how different brains work across countries, but also how similar we all are. i’ll link it at the end because it deserves love.

right!! albums turning into little objects again scratches my brain in the best way. expensive, yes. but also kinda magical. worth it (to me, at least ^^;)

ok so… confession. i absolutely binged ahead. my fave weak hero moment is actually from s2 when baku shows up >:D even though suho is still my #1 forever… but listen. the slam dunk music? absolutely took him out. i had no choice...

and yes pls check it out when u get the chance, it’s such a nice rabbit hole!!! stories everywhere, my weakness. hope ur day’s been good too eugeneeee!! :]
