squirrel watch

squirrel count: broken. absolutely unreliable. i swear i saw more than i’m legally allowed to at this point.

i’m almost done with weak hero and whewww i’m on a very interesting episode right now. s2 really tangled everyone’s fate together, including sieun’s, and at first i was like huh??? what is the writer doing??? but now i kinda get it. i will let them cook. my only solid theory is that there has to be a season 3, maybe next year or 2027 (which sounds like a full century away tbh >:0).

my older siblings went out shopping and accidentally ran into the whole shrek cast singing christmas carols. yeah. i missed my chance to meet lord farquaad (jk) and the blind rats ㅠㅠ but honestly… staying home was peak. it’s cold. the house is cozy. if that makes me sound like a homebody then so be it. one day i’ll go out and write about it. just not.... now.

speaking of being a homebody i found this super cool feature on ibuki sakai that basically validates my whole lifestyle :,] she's a tokyo-based artist and model who creates these amazing old school collages and stickers right from her bedroom, which is basically a maximalist dream full of vintage plushies and character goods. she talks about how her "chaotic" room is actually where she feels most creative, spending her free time drinking tea, playing video games, and digging through childhood relics for her art.

it’s honestly so inspiring to see how she turned her personal obsessions and "recluse" tendencies into massive collaborations with brands like hysteric glamour and marc jacobs. she's so cool!!!!!!! def worth checking out :0

lemme take this as an opportunity for a qotd… if you had to put a percentage on how much of a homebody you are during the holidays, what would it be?

for me it’s a solid 95.9% (yes it’s weirdly specific, don’t question it).

good news tho, the ps5 finally arrived a few days ago (thank u unc), so my sacred routine of morning yakuza gaming has resumed. balance restored. the earth is looking greener.

bad news… my 100gb data is basically on life support. like. 8% left. don’t ask how (i know how). it was fun while it lasted ;; i’m just hoping i can finish the last eps of weak hero class 2 before it fully says sayonara.

note: omg i also forgot to show you guys the long vacation zine. it’s still a wip, but honestly… i’m really proud of how it’s looking so far :]

LOLLL what a surprising event, it’s not every day that u run into the shrek cast while they’re caroling.. ah, it’s too bad u didn’t get to meet them. but i totally get staying home where it’s warm.

woah, ibuki’s work is so colorful and interesting. there’s a lot going on, and that’s what makes the artwork so enjoyable to look at. also, the dollhouses are adorable omg!! thank u sm for sharing the interview!

and to answer ur question, i’d say i’m a 97.5% homebody. i only go out if my family goes too lol.

to answer your question, i'd say 60-75 percent? i like to go out a lot during the holidays because i can see my friends, go shopping, enjoy the cold weather with treats or lots of books... n i'll take a look at the interview after this~ having a chaotic room that's also comfortable is so relatable, lolz.
