okay so. j.y. park just dropped his newest song happy hour (퇴근길) with kwon jin-ah, released on november 5, 2025, and honestly the mv is great. it’s this funny yet oddly comforting take on what it feels like to be totally drained after work. he plays an exhausted office guy at “yojung company” (apparently “yojung” means fairy, which is kinda cute and funny).

the whole video has that chill, real-life feeling; him falling asleep at his desk, making sad instant coffee, and just trying to survive another day in the corporate trenches. i actually like how he ditched the flashy outfits and went for something way more grounded this time..... (this was a joke.)

the song itself has this soft country-pop sound that’s really cozy. it’s basically about that small peaceful moment when you finally clock out, plug in your earphones, and just let music wash away the chaos of the day. feels like something you’d listen to on the bus home at sunset, staring out the window pretending you’re in a drama.

def one of those tracks that hits harder the more tired you are. simple but warm.
