my life is like the aftermath of an action movie rn. there has been destruction but i’m alive and well and things can return to being peaceful. for now…..

thank you so much about the layout ;; i'm really glad you like it! as for the different nav colours, it's all done with something called :nth-child() in css. basically, you can target each specific link in your nav list (like the first, second, third one). here's the basic structure of the code if you want to try it:

nav .links li:nth-child(1) a {
background: /* your colour here */;
}

you just change the number inside the brackets (1, 2, 3...) to match the link's position, and then change the colour value.

OOOOOOO INDONESIAN!!! that's so cool. reduplication is so awesome too??? iirc, tagalog does that sometimes too. (i don't know it, but based off of what i've happened to hear over the years.)

YOU SHOULD TOTALLY GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!! i mean, even if you're not totally proud of it, at least you'll get a feel for what the contest will be like, and you can plan ahead for the next one. u miss all the shots u don't take~

a movie genre... i really don't know, actually. my life is pretty boring right now, to create a movie out of it would be a herculean task. maybe coming-of-age? the very beginning, perhaps, where it's super boring n stuff.

SO COOL!!! it's such a fascinating little linguistic thread~ and thank you for the huge boost of confidence about the contest >_< that's such a good way to look at it; just getting the feel for it. i might just go for it, even with the messy draft!!!

and omg you watch frankie's shelf too?? that's so cool!! (cari can read n the book leo are also amazing, you have great taste >:3). the online book club idea is a good one... maybe i'll look into that instead of just dreaming about it, huehue.

oooo ngl those quiet, in-between chapters are important too, even if they don't feel cinematic. thanks for the good luck and rest wishes~ you get lots of rest too!! talk soon eugene :]
