the whole cbx situation is giving me the exact same major flashbacks to the tvxq/jyj split, and it's making me so incredibly anxious :(. like, it's spooky how similar it is, and it feels like history is just repeating itself right in front of us, doesn't it?! the parallels are uncanny >:0.

you have the big agency (sm), claims about unfair contracts and lack of transparent payments, the legal battles, and now the potential split in activities. it's the same playbook, seriously. with tvxq, three members left to form jyj because of those exact issues, and we never got a full reunion. the fandom was absolutely heartbroken and it was one of the saddest chapters in k-pop history :'( .

that's exactly what i'm terrified of with exo. the trust seems so broken between sm and the cbx guys (chen, baekhyun, xiumin). even if they all say they want full group activities, the legal mess and the bad blood are a huge barrier :|. sm's decision to exclude them from the december fan meeting and the 2026 album just because of "trust issues" feels so final and petty, and it's mirroring the division we saw with tvxq and jyj. it feels like they'd rather have a six-member exo than just sort things out amicably and keep the whole legendary group together :|.

i'm so scared we're seeing the beginning of the end for ot9 activities for good......... my heart just can't take another jyj situation; it's too painful to imagine never seeing all nine members on stage again :(. i really, truly hope for a miracle settlement, but the legal reality and sm's past actions make me so pessimistic :|. it's a mess, and fans are the ones who are suffering the most, caught in the middle of all this corporate drama :| . ugh!
